Job summary

Nusku is recruiting an Engineering Technician to join our Bristol site and help turn innovative designs into reliable hardware for our low‑carbon heating systems. You will build, modify and test prototypes, run engineering tests and maintain a safe, organized workshop.

The role balances hands‑on assembly (about 40%), testing (40%) and workshop administration (20%), with close collaboration with design engineers.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building, modifying, assembling or repairing equipment and test units.
• Ability to follow drawings, build instructions and test procedures with care.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving mindset in a fast-paced development setting.

Responsibilities

• Build, modify and repair prototype and test units across mechanical, electrical and HVAC assemblies.
• Carry out practical tests or follow test procedures and record results.
• Create, maintain and operate test rigs for engineering trials and validation.
• Set up and run engineering trials, prep equipment and sensors.
• Maintain workshop safety, organisation and stock levels; improve layout and usability.
