We are seeking a Proteomics Technician to join the Proteomics Core Facility at the MRC Toxicology Unit, University of Cambridge. The facility plays a key role in addressing proteomic-based challenges for the Unit's scientific programs.
The Proteomics Technician will provide technical support to ensure the efficient operation of the Proteomics Facility. Responsibilities include sample preparation, reporting results to scientists, operating and maintaining specialized equipment, and general laboratory upkeep.
Applicants should possess a degree (or equivalent) in a scientific discipline with practical experience in proteomics sample preparation. Specific expertise in nano LC MS/MS, peptide and protein analysis via bottom-up and top-down methods is advantageous. Experience managing multiple research projects and effectively communicating research findings to diverse audiences is essential, as is working with high precision and accuracy.
