Job summary
Siemens Mobility is seeking an experienced Proposals Engineer to prepare tenders for Protection & Control (P&C) projects within the UK market. You will work with Sales and Procurement to tighten bid packages and align technical solutions with customer needs, while ensuring robust budgets and compliant documentation.
The role is hybrid (Hebburn or Manchester) and requires strong collaboration with Engineering, Project Management and commercial teams to win complex tenders in a fast-paced
Qualifications
- Experience in Tendering, Proposals or Bid Management.
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Ability to coordinate input from technical specialists.
- Understanding of commercial terms and pricing.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate ITT packages with sales and procurement.
- Coordinate preparation from pre-qualification to handover to contract team.
- Collaborate with Engineering, PM, Sales and Procurement to translate specs into offers.
- Respond to technical queries during tendering.
- Prepare and obtain internal approval for tender pricing and documentation.
- Engage legal/commercial teams on T&Cs as needed.
- Chair tender reviews and handovers meetings.
