Job summary

Siemens is seeking an experienced Proposals Engineer for a hybrid role based in Hebburn or Manchester. You will drive tender preparation for Protection & Control projects, coordinating input from engineering, sales and procurement to deliver robust technical offerings and accurate budgets.

The role requires proven tendering or bid management experience, strong stakeholder skills, and a good grasp of commercial terms and pricing strategies.

Qualifications

• Experience in Tendering, Proposals or Bid management.
• Ability to coordinate inputs from engineering, project management, sales and procurement.
• Understanding of commercial terms, pricing strategies and tender risk.
• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and co-ordinate proposals from pre-qualification to handover to contract team.
• Collaborate with engineering, project management, sales and procurement to translate customer specs into offerings and budgets.
• Issue and respond to technical queries and support tender reviews.
• P resent pricing and tender documentation for internal approval.
