Job summary

Warner Hotels is seeking a Property Supervisor for The Runnymede Hotel to oversee day-to-day maintenance and safety across the site. You will coordinate guest room repairs, preventative maintenance, and capital systems, while leading contractor activities with a view to minimal disruption to guests.

You will report to the onsite Property Manager and play a key role in ensuring high standards of functionality and compliance across all hotel facilities.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel facilities or building maintenance management.
• Knowledge of UK safety legislation and compliance testing.
• Ability to coordinate contractors and manage maintenance projects.

Responsibilities

• Guest Room Maintenance & Rapid Response: Coordinate daily work orders for guest rooms and ensure quick resolutions to protect revenue.
• Preventative Maintenance Programs: Schedule routine checks on high-traffic areas, kitchens, pools and guest rooms.
• Room Turnovers & Deep Cleans: Work with Housekeeping on deep cleans, touch-ups and repairs without disruption.
• Capital Critical Systems: Oversee operation of HVAC chillers, boilers, fire suppression systems.
• Contractor & Vendor Management: Supervise external specialists for inspections and major renovations.
• Statutory Compliance & Legal Checks: Ensure adherence to UK safety legislation, Legionella testing, PAT, fixed wire, and fire alarm checks.

Join our team at the Runnymede on Thames, part of the Warner Hotels Group. Opening as a Warner in 2024, this beautiful hotel on the River Thames near Windsor offers award-winning spa facilities, restaurants, bars, and outdoor activities.

Warner Hotels are recruiting for aPropertySupervisor at The Runnymede Hotel.

TheProperty Supervisorsupports the smooth running of hotel maintenance, ensuring safe, functional, and well-presented buildings, systems, and facilities. As Property Supervisor, you'll report to an onsite Property Manager and working with your team to lead both planned and reactive maintenance works as needed across the hotel.

Key responsibilties for the Property Supervisor may include:

Guest Room Maintenance & Rapid Response: Coordinating daily work orders for guest rooms, ensuring the team resolves these issues quickly so rooms are not placed "out of order," which directly impacts hotel revenue.

Preventative Maintenance (PM) Programs: Scheduling routine checks on high-traffic areas, commercial kitchen equipment, pools, and guest rooms.

Room Turnovers & Deep Cleans: Partnering closely with the Housekeeping Department to handle scheduled deep cleans, painting touch-ups, and structural repairs without disruption

Capital Critical Systems: Manages the daily operation of heavy-duty building systems, including industrial HVAC chillers, commercial boilers, fire suppression systems.

Contractor & Vendor Management: Oversees external specialists for regulated inspections (elevators, fire alarms) and major hotel renovations, ensuring work is completed with minimal noise and disruption to guests.

Statutory Compliance & Legal Checks: Ensures the hotel strictly adheres to UK safety legislation. This includes organizing and documenting regular Legionella testing (L8 compliance), PAT testing (Portable Appliance Testing) for guest room electronics, fixed wire testing, and routine fire alarm and emergency lighting checks.
