Job summary

Warner Hotels is seeking an Entertainment Supervisor to ensure the smooth delivery of engaging entertainment across shifts at the Runnymede on Thames. You will lead operational activities, coordinate with departments, and maintain a high standard of service to enhance guest experience.

You will oversee guest interactions, handle queries and VIP requests, and support teams across departments while upholding health and safety standards.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Act as on-shift leader across the department and oversee operational standards.
• Serve as the main guest contact during shifts and handle queries and VIP requests.
• Provide on-shift support and guidance to teams across departments.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and company policies, and manage emergencies.
• Monitor upselling opportunities and ensure cash handling and billing processes.
• Prepare shift handovers and reports, and communicate urgent matters to leadership.
• Liaise with organisers and internal teams to meet event requirements.
• Take decisive action during crises to minimise disruption and protect guest safety.

Warner Hotels are recruiting for an EntertainmentSupervisor. The Entertainment Supervisor is responsible for the smooth delivery of entertainment during their shift, ensuring a high standard of service and a positive guest experience. The role combines operational leadership with a practical, guest-focused approach, making sure every detail is well managed while responding effectively to any challenges that arise.

Responsibilities:

Operational Oversight

• Act as theonshiftleader acrossthedepartment.
• Monitor operational standards and efficiency in all areas.
• Coordinate with department managers to resolve issues promptly.

Guest Service & Experience

• Serve as the main guest contact during the shift.
• Handle queries, complaints, VIPs, and special requests professionally.
• Maintain visibility in public areas to support engagement and satisfaction.

Team Support & Leadership

• Provide onshift support and guidance to teams across all departments.
• Reallocate resources during busy periods tomaintainservice levels.
• Motivate teams and lead by example with a positive, collaborative approach.

Health, Safety & Compliance

• Ensure adherence to H&S regulations, hygiene standards, and company policies.
• Act as the person responsible for emergency procedures, fire safety, and first aid.
• Complete incident reports and elevate as needed.

Financial & Commercial Awareness

• Monitor upselling opportunities across rooms, F&B, leisure, and retail.
• Ensure correct cash handling and billing processes.
• Support cost control while protecting guest experience.

Communication & Reporting

• Conduct thorough shift handovers to ensure smooth continuity.
• Prepare shift reports on key events, feedback, and challenges.
• Communicate urgent matters to senior leadership promptly.

Event & Function Support

• Liaise withorganisersand internal teams to ensure requirements are met.

Problem Solving & Crisis Management

• Take decisive action during emergencies or unexpected issues.
• Coordinate teams tominimisedisruption and ensure guest safety
