Job summary

VanRath Search & Selection is seeking a Site Supervisor (Property Services) for Belfast, Northern Ireland. You will coordinate operations, manage direct labour and sub-contractors, and uphold safety standards to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Ideal candidates will have construction industry experience, supervisory background, CSR card, UK driving licence, and strong planning and communication skills. An attractive package including life assurance and wellbeing programme is on offer.

Qualifications

• Experience in Construction Industry.
• Foreman/Supervisor experience.
• CSR Card held.
• UK Driving Licence held.
• Experience in minor building and maintenance joinery.
• Good communication with customers.
• Strong planning and organisational skills.
• Reliable, flexible and adaptable.
• Ability to work on own initiative and in a team.
• Capable of meeting deadlines and targets.
• Understanding of operating costs and productivity.

Responsibilities

• Organise jobs for operations, review work programs and materials daily.
• Ensure on-site health and safety protocols are followed, conduct audits.
• Act as central point of contact for senior managers and admin for service delivery.
• Coordinate with planners to allocate work to subcontractors or direct labour.
• Manage subcontractors and ensure quality and performance standards.
• Monitor job numbers and progress, raise variations when needed.
• Track rejected jobs and provide explanations for notes.
• Review instructions and SORs to verify correct codes and values.
• Attend meetings and keep reporting information up to date.
• Provide leadership to depot teams and ensure accountability.
• Conduct pre/post inspection surveys and document materials and requirements.
• Liaise with client maintenance officers on queries or changes.
• Ensure works are recorded in PDA and Orchard systems accurately.
• Support and train direct labour and subcontractors, including new staff.
