Job summary

VanRath Search & Selection is recruiting an Electrical Site Supervisor for permanent work in Belfast, Northern Ireland. You will lead on-site electrical installations, manage labour, coordinate with trades, and ensure schedules and budgets are met.

The role requires health and safety knowledge, strong IT skills (Word, Excel, Outlook), planning discipline, and the ability to multitask in a busy work environment. Some travel to ROI or GB may be required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Responsible for the control of labour and their coordination with other trades on-site.
• Ensure all installations are of the highest quality.
• Ensuring the installation complies with the latest relevant regulations.
• Procurement of general day-to-day materials.
• Procurement and management of hire equipment on-site.
• Meeting with clients, main contractors, and subcontractors regularly.
• Preparation of short-term lookahead programmes and inputting into the overall master programme.
• Provide regular reports on progress and performance to the Contracts Manager.

Remuneration

£45,000 - £50,000 + DOE + car / allowance / package

The business has a great reputation for delivering quality projects on time, on budget, safely and to first class standards. They work across a range of sectors including commercial, industrial, health, education, leisure and residential.

The Opportunity

Due to continued growth and expansion, the business has an excellent opportunity for an Electrical Site Supervisor to join them on a permanent basis. Many projects are located in Northern Ireland, however, sometimes projects are in ROI or GB so the successful person will need to be willing to travel when required.
