Job summary

Intact Insurance is recruiting a Property Risk Consultant to join our Risk Consultancy team on a remote basis in the UK. You will undertake detailed location-specific property risk assessments for large and specialist cases, manage relationships with customers to ensure high standards of satisfaction, and contribute to risk-based propositions.

You will provide loss prevention guidance at the corporate level, and work closely with Underwriting to mitigate risks while supporting career development

Qualifications

• Extensive Property Risk Engineering background.
• Experience in Property Risk Engineering within Specialty Lines.
• Experience reviewing high hazard risks (Data Centres, Pharmaceutical, Chemical).
• Knowledge of sprinklers and fire protection systems.
• Insurance background preferred, but industry candidates considered.

Responsibilities

• Undertake detailed location-specific property risk engineering assessments for large and specialist cases following agreed processes.
• Manage risk consulting relationships with Intact Insurance customers to ensure quality, technical excellence and high customer satisfaction.
• Contribute to development of customer propositions with knowledge of customers and risks to identify opportunities and benefits.
• Provide loss prevention/technical risk management advice to customers at corporate level.
• Collaborate with Underwriting to ensure risks to the business are mitigated.

We have an opportunity for a Property Risk Consultant to join our existing Risk Consultancy team working on a remote basis.

You’ll make an impact by:

• Undertake detailed location specific property risk engineering assessments of large and specialist cases following agreed processes
• Successfully manage the risk consulting relationship with Intact Insurance customers to ensure quality and consistency, technical excellence and account level focus to deliver high standards of customer satisfaction
• Contribute to the development of customer propositions, bringing knowledge and insight of customers and risks, to identify opportunities and benefits
• Provide loss prevention / technical risk management advice and guidance to customers at the corporate level
• Work in collaboration with Underwriting to ensure risks to the business are mitigated

Your skills and experience:

• Extensive Property Risk Engineering background
• Experience of Property Risk Engineering within Specialty Lines business
• Experience of reviewing and assessing high hazardous risks such as Data Centres, Pharmaceutical risks and Chemical risks.
• Knowledge of Sprinklers and Fire Protection systems
• Ideally you will have an insurance background but we could also consider someone from industry
