Job summary

Intact Insurance (formerly RSA) in the UK invites a Property Risk Consultant to join the Risk Consultancy team on a remote basis. You will perform location-specific risk assessments for large and specialist properties and guide loss prevention strategies.

Ideal candidates have extensive property risk engineering experience, especially in specialty lines, with knowledge of high-hazard risks and fire protection systems. Flexible hours and a supportive, inclusive culture are offered.

Qualifications

• Extensive property risk engineering background.
• Experience of Property Risk Engineering within Specialty Lines business.
• Experience in reviewing and assessing high-hazard risks (Data Centres, Pharma, Chemical).
• Knowledge of sprinklers and fire protection systems.
• Insurance background preferred but industry background considered.

Responsibilities

• Conduct location-specific property risk engineering assessments following agreed processes.
• Manage risk consulting relationships to ensure quality and customer satisfaction.
• Contribute to development of customer propositions with risk insights.
• Provide loss prevention and technical risk management guidance at corporate level.
• Collaborate with Underwriting to ensure risk mitigation.
