Job summary

Pear Recruitment is seeking a Property Manager to join their team in Buckhurst Hill. You will manage a portfolio of private rented properties, liaise with landlords and tenants, and ensure smooth operations to uphold high standards.

The role requires at least 1 year of experience, a full UK driving license and own car, and a reliable, organised approach to a fast-paced environment. Working hours are Mon-Fri 9am-5:30pm with Saturday 9am-4pm.

Qualifications

• Experience with tenancy deposits, checkouts and tenancy renewals.
• Ability to organise works between tenancies and manage costs.
• Familiarity with safety certification regulations and licensing schemes.
• Experience liaising with landlords and tenants to maintain high standards.
• Clean driving license and access to own car.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of private rented properties and liaise with landlords and tenants.
• Coordinate maintenance, instruct contractors and approve works within budget.
• Handle renewals, notices (S8, S13, S21, S48) and move-ins for new files.
• Maintain filing, posting invoices and ensuring funds are held on account.
• Register warranties on appliances and ensure CFP software is utilized when available.
