Job summary

IRS Recruitment is seeking an experienced Property & Lettings Manager to join its Suffolk office, working alongside two colleagues to oversee a diverse property portfolio. From welcoming tenants to coordinating refurbishments and maintaining records, you’ll take ownership of lettings, tenancy administration, inspections and contractor liaison with a proactive, professional approach.

Hours are 8am–2pm, Monday to Friday (30 hours); salary about £37,000–£37,500 with a discounted one‑bedroom flat

Qualifications

• Experience in property management or lettings environment.
• Knowledge of local property market and lettings legislation.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day lettings, tenancy admin and tenant enquiries.
• Conduct property viewings, inventories and inspections.
• Coordinate maintenance, contractors and refurbishments.
• Keep property records and compliance documents up to date.
• Oversee budgets, payments and general office administration.
• Liaise with tenants, contractors and advisers; provide after-hours support.
