Job summary

Crawford & Company in Glasgow (Hybrid) seeks a claims professional to manage a portfolio of property claims end-to-end, ensuring SLA/KPI compliance and a high standard of customer service throughout the lifecycle. You will support Adjusters and liaise with policyholders, brokers and contractors to progress claims efficiently.

The ideal candidate has experience in property claims or FNOL, strong communication and organisational skills, and a proactive, customer-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within the insurance sector, ideally in a Claims Handling, Claims Administration or FNOL environment.
• Understanding of policy coverage and claims investigation processes.
• Experience of working within a customer service-driven environment.
• Progress towards, or interest in obtaining, relevant insurance qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Support Adjusters in the management of a varied portfolio of property insurance claims.
• Deliver a professional end-to-end claims handling service, ensuring a positive customer experience throughout the claim lifecycle.
• Review and establish policy coverage, applying policy terms and conditions accurately and consistently.
• Manage First Notification of Loss (FNOL) interactions, gathering key information and setting clear expectations with customers and stakeholders.
• Liaise with policyholders, brokers, contractors, and other stakeholders to progress claims efficiently and effectively.
• Maintain accurate claim records and ensure service level agreements are met.
