Home Property Claims Handler - Starting salary of £23,900
Location - Perth
Start date - Monday 24th February

Working Hours:

  • Shift patterns covering the hours of 8am-9pm Monday to Friday and 8am-8pm Saturday and Sunday.
  • Our current rotation is one late shift every 2nd week and 1 weekend day every 3rd weekend.
  • Average of 35 hours p/week over 5 days.
  • You will be required to be flexible with these hours as shifts for this role are on a rota basis.
  • We are also open on Bank Holidays.

This is a hybrid working position, so being able to get into the Perth Office at least 50% of your working week is essential.

A bit about the job:

Our Claims Handlers handle insurance claims with maximum efficiency and minimum fuss, in an attractive environment. Don't worry if this is something new for you; full training will be provided. Skills and experience we're looking for:

  • Positive attitude and strong desire to meet customers' needs.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal.
  • The ability to listen and reason empathetically.
  • Flexible attitude towards change and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good level of IT skills to navigate systems.

What you'll get for this role:

  • Starting salary of £23,900 (This role falls under Aviva's "Pay progression scheme", so the further you develop in this role the higher the salary will be)
  • Bonus opportunity - 6% of annual salary. Actual amount depends on your performance and Aviva's.
