Job description

Join to apply for the Claims Handler role at Adjusting Appointments Limited.

We are seeking an experienced Claims Handler to join our established and reputable Loss Adjusters firm due to growth and expansion.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide first-class customer service to customers, clients, and colleagues, ensuring all claims are proactively managed to conclusion and client-specific service level criteria are met.
  2. Act as a point of contact for client/customer queries and own issues through to their satisfactory resolution.
About You
  1. Experience in handling insurance property claims from cradle to grave.
  2. Ability to understand various insurer policy wordings to establish validity.
  3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  4. Good time management and organizational skills, with diary management experience.
  5. Ability to work under pressure handling volume calls while maintaining quality service.
  6. IT literate with the ability to utilize multiple systems.
  7. Willingness to travel to the local office for training, induction, or team meetings.
  8. Industry qualifications such as Cert CII or Cert CILA are desirable, or willingness to work towards them.
Additional Details
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week.
  • Remote role with occasional travel to the office for training and meetings.
  • Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum.
  • Benefits include contributory pension, performance bonus, flexi benefits, voluntary schemes, birthday holiday, and share purchase scheme.
