The Job

As a Claims Handler, you’ll play a key role in managing and monitoring claims, ensuring no leakage occurs and delivering exceptional service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support customers from their first notification of claim until the completion of repairs
  • Ensure claims are processed in line with guidelines, current case law, and indemnity requirements
  • Investigate and determine liability, preparing necessary documentation and communicating with relevant parties
  • Manage the claims pipeline effectively, meeting service level agreements and reporting any delays promptly
  • Identify opportunities for group services (hire, repair, etc.) while mitigating total claim costs
  • Oversee hire claims to prevent any discrepancies in acceptance, duration, or vehicle type
  • Coordinate with engineers, bodyshops, and internal teams to ensure timely repairs
  • Maintain regular customer contact, providing updates and addressing any concerns
  • Handle complaints professionally, following the established escalation process

What You Need

  • Strong customer service skills and excellent communication abilities
  • Basic understanding of accident insurance policies (further training will be provided)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to team goals
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to work well under pressure
  • Proactive attitude and adaptability to changing situations
