Job summary

Carter Jonas in Birmingham seeks an experienced Property & Asset Management Lead to head a team delivering residential property portfolios for major infrastructure clients across the UK.

You'll combine leadership, client relationship management and operational oversight to ensure assets are managed efficiently, service standards exceed expectations and continuous improvement is pursued.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in property management, residential asset management, lettings or related sector.
• Experience leading, developing and motivating teams.
• Strong knowledge of residential property management and asset management practices.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Asset Managers to deliver a high-performing culture.
• Manage residential property portfolios for infrastructure clients, ensuring contractual and service obligations are met.
• Drive performance against client KPIs and service level agreements.
• Build trusted relationships with clients, contractors and stakeholders.
• Oversee onboarding and mobilisation of newly acquired assets.
• Manage vacant properties, coordinate repairs and improvements to lettable standard.
• Ensure regular property inspections are undertaken and records are accurate.
• Collaborate with Facilities Management to meet statutory and compliance requirements.
• Monitor portfolio performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Support business growth with a proactive, client-focused approach.
