Qualificações

• Significant experience in property management, residential asset management, lettings or related sector.
• Experience leading, developing and motivating teams.
• Strong knowledge of residential property management and asset management practices.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsabilidades

• Manage vacant properties, coordinate repairs and improvements to lettable standard.

• Collaborate with Facilities Management to meet statutory and compliance requirements.
• Monitor portfolio performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Support business growth with a proactive, client-focused approach.

We're looking for an experienced Property & Asset Management Lead to join our Infrastructure team in Birmingham on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

This is an opportunity to lead a high-performing team responsible for managing residential property portfolios on behalf of major infrastructure clients across the UK. Combining people leadership, client relationship management and operational oversight, you'll play a key role in ensuring assets are managed efficiently, stakeholders are engaged and service standards consistently exceed expectations.

As Team Lead, you'll support and develop a team of Asset Managers, drive performance against client objectives, and take ownership of the day-to-day delivery of a diverse property portfolio. You'll be empowered to make decisions, solve complex challenges and contribute to the continued success and growth of our Infrastructure service offering.

Main Tasks

In this varied leadership role, you'll oversee both portfolio delivery and team performance, ensuring assets are managed effectively while maintaining an exceptional client experience.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading, coaching and developing a team of Asset Managers, creating a collaborative and high-performing culture.
• Managing residential property portfolios on behalf of infrastructure clients, ensuring all contractual and service obligations are met.
• Driving performance against client KPIs and service level agreements.
• Building trusted relationships with clients, contractors and key stakeholders.
• Overseeing the onboarding and mobilisation of newly acquired assets.
• Managing vacant properties, coordinating repairs, maintenance and improvement works to bring homes back to a lettable standard.
• Ensuring regular property inspections are undertaken and records maintained accurately.
• Working closely with Facilities Management colleagues to ensure statutory and compliance requirements are met.
• Monitoring portfolio performance, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and implementing solutions to enhance service delivery.
• Supporting business growth through a proactive, client-focused approach.

What will it take to be successful?

• Significant experience within property management, residential asset management, lettings or a related sector.
• Previous experience leading, developing and motivating teams.
• Strong knowledge of residential property management and asset management practices.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience using property management systems and Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of performance management, service delivery and best practice within property management environments.
• Full UK driving licence.

Experience managing property portfolios for infrastructure, utilities or corporate clients would be advantageous.
