Your resume and cover letter, tailored to exactly what they’re hiring for.
Abri is seeking a Property Alterations Officer based in Yeovil to support customers with home alterations, adaptations and permissions. You’ll guide them through applications, coordinate surveyors and collaborate with housing colleagues to deliver fair, efficient outcomes.
This role focuses on delivering excellent customer service, accurate record-keeping and strong communication across teams. The position supports flexible working with three days in the Yeovil office and two days from elsewhere.
At Abri, we know that a home is so much more than four walls. It's where life happens, and sometimes customers need support to make changes that help them live safely, comfortably, and independently.
That's where you come in.
We're looking for a Property Alterations Officer to join our friendly team. In this role, you'll be helping customers navigate requests for home alterations, adaptations, and permissions, ensuring they receive clear advice, support, and guidance, every step of the way.
Whether you're speaking to a customer about an adaptation that could improve their daily life, coordinating a surveyor visit, or working with colleagues across the business to find the right solution, you'll play an important role in delivering a great customer experience.
No two days are quite the same. You'll be at the heart of a service that helps customers make changes to their homes with confidence.
You'll:
You’ll be working from our Yeovil office a minimum of three days per week to connect and collaborate with colleagues and the other two days can be worked from at a place of your choosing whether that's at another of our offices, a cafe or at home.
We're less concerned about ticking every box and more interested in finding someone who genuinely cares about delivering great service.
You’ll be someone who:
Experience within housing, property, or a similar environment would be beneficial, but most importantly you’ll share our commitment to putting customers first.
When you join Abri, you’re joining a team that’s passionate about creating better futures for our customers and communities.
In return, you’ll find a supportive environment where your ideas are valued, your development is encouraged, and the work you do genuinely makes a difference to people’s lives.
If you’re looking for a role where you can combine customer service, administration, and problem-solving while helping people make their homes work better for them, we’d love to hear from you.
