Vallum Associates is seeking an experienced Proofpoint SME to lead design, deployment, and optimization of Proofpoint security solutions within a large enterprise environment. You will manage email security policies, SPF/DKIM/DMARC configurations, and respond to threats across Microsoft 365 ecosystems.

The role requires 8+ years in cyber security with 4+ years hands-on Proofpoint experience, strong incident response skills, and collaboration with SOC and infrastructure teams.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in Cyber Security or Enterprise Security Administration.
• 4+ years hands-on with Proofpoint solutions (PEP, TRAP, DLP)
• Experience with Microsoft 365 / Exchange Online and SIEM platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, deployment, and optimization of Proofpoint security solutions.
• Configure and maintain SPF, DKIM, DMARC.
• Monitor and respond to email-based security incidents.
• Collaborate with SOC, Infra, and Microsoft 365 teams on security initiatives.
• Develop operational procedures and technical documentation.
• Provide L3/L4 support and mentor junior engineers.
