Job summary

Sanctuary Supported Living in Dereham is seeking a Project Worker to support people experiencing homelessness and help them build independence. You will assess needs, update support plans and be the first point of contact for inquiries, while building relationships that respect privacy and dignity.

The role collaborates with external partners to boost wellbeing and opportunities, with a focus on empowering individuals to reach their full potential within our compassionate team.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting adults who have experienced homelessness.
• Positive, flexible and enthusiastic approach.
• Able to work well in a team and independently.
• Strong organisational skills with good literacy and numeracy.
• NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards it.
• Proficient technology/IT skills (Microsoft Office and similar).

Responsibilities

• Support customers who have experienced homelessness to build independence and reach their potential.
• Assess needs and update support plans.
• Act as the first point of contact for customer queries.
• Build positive relationships that respect choice, privacy and dignity.
• Work with external partners to boost confidence, health and wellbeing, and encourage education and employment.
