Job Opportunity: Independent Child Trafficking Guardian

We are seeking passionate individuals to join the National Counter Trafficking Centre. If you have experience in Immigration, Social Care, or Criminal Justice and are committed to improving the lives of young people affected by modern slavery, we want to hear from you!

This full-time role (37 hours per week) is home-based with potential extensive travel across our delivery sites. You must be able to identify a confidential workspace for your daily work and hold a current driving license with access to a car or be capable of managing extensive travel via public transport.

Salary: £27,573 - £29,542.50 per annum, plus £312 annual Office at Home Allowance.

We are particularly interested in applicants residing in the following area:

• Bristol

Responsibilities:

• Support children who have experienced trafficking and exploitation, working with professionals to ensure appropriate support.
• Assist in identifying exploited children and referring them to the service.
• Provide advice, guidance, and information about child trafficking, including safety planning, through consultations and multi-agency meetings.
• Develop needs assessments and action plans.
• Support partner agencies to meet the needs of trafficked children.
• Manage a caseload of young people, adhering to service KPIs and Home Office guidance.
• Engage with children via face-to-face and online methods, ensuring high-quality support.
• Identify safeguarding concerns and collaborate with partner agencies to ensure a robust safeguarding response.

This position is initially funded until 31 March 2026, with potential for extension. If funding is not renewed, redundancy procedures may apply.
