Job summary

Sanctuary Group is seeking a temporary Project Worker to join Weston Foyer in Weston-super-Mare. You will work with a compassionate team supporting young people, helping with daily living tasks, and guiding service users toward education, training and employment.

The role involves safeguarding responsibilities, managing finances, and promoting social inclusion. 37.5 hours per week and a pay rate of £13.87 per hour, with a values-driven, not-for-profit environment that reinvests in services.

Qualifications

• Experience working with vulnerable people.
• Positive approach to supporting young people with a range of needs.
• Strong interpersonal and customer care skills.
• Knowledge of support planning, risk assessment and safeguarding.
• Ability to work on your own initiative.
• NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards it.

Responsibilities

Your role

• Knowledge of support planning, key working, risk assessment and safeguarding
• Ability to work on your own initiative
• NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards it
• Proficient technology/IT skills (Microsoft Office and similar)
