Job summary

Sanctuary Supported Living in Cromer is seeking a Project Worker to support people experiencing homelessness, helping them build independence and reach their potential within a compassionate, community-focused team.

You’ll assess needs, update support plans, be the first point of contact for queries, and collaborate with external partners to boost health, wellbeing and opportunities for education and employment.

Qualifications

  • Experience supporting adults who have experienced homelessness.
  • Positive, flexible and enthusiastic approach.
  • Ability to work in a team and independently.
  • Strong organisational skills with good literacy and numeracy.
  • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards it.
  • Proficient IT skills (Microsoft Office and similar).

Your role

  • Support customers who have experienced homelessness to build independence and reach their potential
  • Assess needs and update support plans

(This role is sometimes also referred to as Support Worker, Support Assistant, or Independent Living Assistant).
