Job summary

Sanctuary Supported Living is seeking a Project Worker at Drawbridge House, Bridgwater, to help people with learning and physical disabilities build independence and wellbeing.

You will deliver one-to-one support, run small group activities, and update support plans, with risk assessments and accurate record-keeping. The role offers training, career development, flexible working, and a supportive, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

  • Experience supporting adults with physical or learning disabilities or high needs.
  • Empathetic and able to relate to people with diverse needs.
  • Able to work effectively under pressure and maintain accurate records.
  • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards it.
  • Proficient technology/IT skills (Microsoft Office and similar).

Responsibilities

Your role
  • Support customers with learning and physical disabilities to build independence and reach their potential

(This role is sometimes also referred to as Support Worker, Support Assistant, or Independent Living Assistant).
