Job summary

Sanctuary Supported Living is seeking a Project Worker in Felixstowe to support people experiencing homelessness and help them build independence. You will assess needs, update support plans, and be the first point of contact for queries.

Join a compassionate team, work 37.5 hours weekly at 9-11 Buregate Road, with a focus on dignity, privacy, and personalised support. A commitment to inclusivity and professional development is essential.

Qualifications

  • Experience supporting adults who have experienced homelessness.
  • Positive, flexible and enthusiastic approach.
  • Able to work well in a team and independently.
  • Strong literacy and numeracy skills.
  • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards it.
  • Proficient technology/IT skills (Microsoft Office and similar).

Responsibilities

  • Support customers who have experienced homelessness to build independence and reach their potential.
  • Assess needs and update support plans.

Your role

  • Support customers who have experienced homelessness to build independence and reach their potential
  • Assess needs and update support plans

(This role is sometimes also referred to as Support Worker, Support Assistant, or Independent Living Assistant).
