Sanctuary Group is recruiting a Temporary Project Worker for the Defoe Court service in Epsom. The role supports young people, assesses needs, signs post to education and employment, and assists with daily living tasks, finances, and safeguarding. It is a temporary post for up to six months with a competitive hourly rate.

The role offers exposure to a compassionate, community-focused team, with not-for-profit values and opportunities for personal and professional development.

Qualifications

• Experience working with vulnerable people.
• Positive approach to supporting young people with varied needs.
• Strong interpersonal and customer care skills.
• Effective communication and ability to work on your own initiative.
• Knowledge of support planning, key working, risk assessment, and safeguarding.
• Proficient technology/IT skills (Microsoft Office and similar).

• Offer advice to help customers meet tenancy conditions

Your role

Your skills

• NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care, or willingness to work towards it
