Job summary

Involved Solutions LTD. urgently requires a senior Project Transformation Manager to lead large-scale programmes in a secure government environment. The role reports to the Engineering & Operations Director and interfaces with the Strategic PMO on governance and delivery maturity.

The position is remote/hybrid with UK-based and overseas delivery. DV clearance is required, and the contract runs for six months with potential extension. Compensation is £875 per day with Inside IR35 terms.

Qualifications

• Senior PM/Programme Management experience in construction, engineering or infrastructure.
• Experience delivering large-scale programmes in complex, global environments.
• Strong governance, risk, assurance, and compliance knowledge.
• Active DV clearance or DV eligibility and security-minded approach.

Duration: 6 months (extendable)

We're looking for a senior Project Management professional with strong Change/Transformation experience to lead complex, large-scale programmes within a secure Government Environment.

This is a senior leadership role, reporting to the Engineering & Operations Director with a dotted line into the Head of Strategic PMO.

You'll be responsible for:

• Leading major, complex projects and programmes across the UK and overseas
• Providing senior direction, decision‑making and issue resolution
• Driving change, continuous improvement and delivery maturity
• Strengthening project governance, assurance, risk and compliance
• Working closely with the Strategic PMO to improve consistency and predictability
• Leading, mentoring and developing project management teams
• Managing senior stakeholders and influencing at executive level
• Improving project management methodologies, tools, processes and standards
• Overseeing resource, capability and capacity requirements

We're looking for:

• Significant senior Project/Programme Management experience in construction, engineering or infrastructure
• Strong Change/Transformation and continuous improvement experience
• Experience delivering large-scale projects/programmes in complex, global environments
• UK and overseas delivery experience
• Strong commercial and financial management capability
• Excellent governance, assurance, risk and compliance knowledge
• Expert knowledge of PRINCE2, MSP, Agile or similar methodologies
• Strategic PMO experience is desirable
• Relevant professional accreditation such as PMP, APM or MSP Practitioner
• Active DV clearance
