Job summary

Hitachi Energy is recruiting a site administrator to cover our Rugeley site and potentially occasional support to other sites. This two-year fixed term contract role focuses on managing administrative tasks, maintaining records, and facilitating communication between site staff and contractors to ensure health, safety and site compliance across the project lifecycle.

Ideal candidates will be highly organized, capable of handling fast-paced and varied work, and possess a valid UK driving license

Qualifications

• Eligibility for United Kingdom DBS clearance required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with high attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and basic office equipment.
• Valid driving license, access to vehicle and ability to travel regularly.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with site teams, contractors and quality teams to support smooth site operations.
• Record project progress, budgets and expenditures; maintain accurate trackers and reports.
• Monitor progress, elevate issues and support timely close-out.
• Maintain site training onboarding and health documentation.

Job description

This is a two-year fixed term contract.

You will play a key role in supporting the smooth operation of a construction site by managing administrative tasks, maintaining accurate records, and facilitating communication between site staff, and contractors to ensure our sites are managed to the highest health and safety, security, government policy as well as the site efficiency and compliance are met throughout the project lifecycle.

How you’ll make an impact

Liaise with site teams, contractors, quality, and commissioning.

Recording project progress, performance metric, budgets and expenditures

Monitor progress, elevate issues, and support timely close‑out.

Maintain accurate trackers, reports, and documentation related to training, onboarding and health

Record hazard observations / sight observational tours & environmental records.

Maintain the site waste management plan data.

Record site hours and attendance.

Maintain Quality Assurance documentation.

Record delivery notes and upload material NCR’s.

Collate drawing issue file and transmittal register.

Your background:
