Pearson Whiffin are recruiting for a Project Support Administrator to join ourrapidly growingclient who are based in Mid Kent. This position will start out on a temporary basis with the opportunity for the right person to join their team permanently.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking to get a start in project management, someone who is enthusiastic to learn who has an interest to work within the construction industry.

The ideal candidate will need to demonstrate their experience within a similar administration role. You will need to be proactive and have a methodical approach. You will be supporting the Project Manager(s) in ensuring the smooth running of the daily operations.

Duties include:

  • Supporting the project manager(s)
  • Working closely with internal stakeholders
  • Ensuring invoices are accurate and processed in a timely manner
  • Document control
  • Maintain project related databases and update the system with accurate information
  • Direct procurement

To be considered for this role, you must have/be:

  • Experience working within the Construction industry is preferred but not essential, entry level candidates will also be considered
  • Excellent administrative skills and highly organised
  • Basic Microsoft Office experience
  • Demonstrate confidence using Excel , including using formulas and inputting data
  • Able to work to deadlines
  • A proactive approach and meticulous attention to detail
  • Able to pick up systems quickly and effectively

This award-winning company is well established within the Construction industry, the successful candidate will be working within a small and hardworking team, this role would also equally suit someone who has a good understanding or in-depth knowledge of the industry. This role is office based with an immediate start following interview stages.
