Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience within social housing maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of cost management, budgeting and procurement.
• Previous experience using the NHF Schedule of Rates.
• Good analytical skills and strong attention to detail.
• Confident written and verbal communication.
• Collaborative approach with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Experience with the NHF Form of Contract would be advantageous.
• Knowledge of the Procurement Act 2023 would be desirable.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the ongoing development of the Schedule of Rates and associated documentation.
• Maintaining labour and material cost data.
• Assisting with specifications, pricing frameworks and contract documentation.
• Carrying out option appraisals for property maintenance delivery models.
• Providing market intelligence and cost benchmarking to clients.
• Supporting interim and final valuations.
• Preparing and evaluating tender submissions.
• Advising clients on procurement and contractual arrangements.
