Skilled Careers, on behalf of a leading property services and construction business, is hiring a Project Quantity Surveyor to join the planned maintenance team in North Birmingham.

You will manage the commercial delivery across multiple streams, control costs, procure subcontractors, and report to clients and stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery within budget. This permanent role offers long-term career opportunities within a growing commercial team.

Qualifications

• Project Surveyor or QS experience in social housing planned works.
• Experience in kitchens, bathrooms, roofing and external refurbishments.
• Strong cost control, forecasting, valuations and final accounts.
• Client-facing with ability to report to stakeholders.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Manage the commercial delivery of planned maintenance projects from mobilisation to final account.
• Control project costs including budgets, forecasts and monthly reporting.
• Procure subcontractors, tender, negotiate contracts and monitor performance.
• Identify risks and opportunities while ensuring cost control and compliance.
• Build client and stakeholder relationships and provide clear reporting.
