Job summary

Brandon James is recruiting an Associate Quantity Surveyor for its Windsor, Berkshire office to lead cost management across a varied portfolio. You will manage client relationships, mentor junior surveyors and contribute to repeat business while delivering projects from feasibility to final account.

The role requires MRICS (or equivalent senior level) and a degree in Quantity Surveying or related field, with strong UK PQS/cost consultancy experience.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or related construction discipline.
• MRICS qualification or equivalent senior level.
• Strong UK PQS/cost consultancy experience.
• Proven ability to lead commissions independently.
• Good knowledge of JCT contracts and UK procurement routes.

Responsibilities

• Leading cost management commissions from inception through to final account
• Preparing and reviewing cost plans, estimates and project budgets
• Managing tender documentation, procurement and contractor selection
• Overseeing valuations, variations, change control and cost reporting
• Advising clients on commercial strategy and contractual matters
• Managing key client relationships across Berkshire and the M4 corridor
• Supporting business development and identifying repeat work opportunities
• Mentoring junior Quantity Surveyors and supporting team development
