Job summary

PSR Solutions seeks a Project Quantity Surveyor for a Tier 1 main contractor on a £100m+ residential scheme in Central London. You will manage commercial aspects from procurement to final accounts, liaising with project and site teams to safeguard value and risk.

The role requires proven main contractor background, stability in roles and strong knowledge of subcontract procurement, cost reporting and final accounts. A degree in QS and familiarity with JCT/NEC contracts are essential.

Qualifications

• Main contractor experience essential.
• Stable CV essential; proven commitment and tenure.
• Experience on large-scale projects, ideally residential/high-rise/multi-unit schemes.
• Strong grasp of subcontract procurement, package management and final accounts.
• Good working knowledge of JCT and/or NEC contracts.
• Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline.
• Proactive, organised and commercially aware approach.

Responsibilities

• Manage the commercial side of packages from procurement to final account.
• Report to Senior QS and Commercial Manager; work with project/site teams.
• Procurement, tendering and appointment of subcontract packages.
• Manage subcontractor valuations, payments and final accounts.
• Handle change control, variations and early warnings.
