Job summary

Babcock International is seeking a Project Planner at our Devonport Royal Dockyard site in Plymouth. You will join a high-performing PMO supporting the Capital Investment Portfolio, coordinating schedules across engineers, construction teams and suppliers to keep programmes on track. The role is full-time (35 hours per week) with hybrid working.

Essential: Primavera P6, APM PPC Foundation, PFQ, ONC in Engineering or equivalent. Security clearance (SC) is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in project planning, scheduling or project controls.
• Experience developing, maintaining and monitoring project schedules.
• Understanding of cost, risk, estimating and change management in projects.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and cross-disciplinary collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Provide planning and scheduling support across a portfolio of infrastructure projects.
• Prepare schedule-related reports and performance information.
• Maintain project schedules and align plans with costs.
• Assist with critical path analysis and spend forecasting.
• Collaborate with engineering, construction, commercial and supply chain teams.
