A project management firm in London is seeking a Project Manager with over 5 years of experience in property refurbishment. The successful candidate will manage multiple projects, focusing on luxury high-end houses in listed buildings, and must possess strong project management skills along with a solid background in CAD. Competitive salary of around £65,000 offered.
Our client is a well-established project management firm who specialise in the design and refurbishment of London investment properties. They are now seeking a Project Manager with a strong background in this sector and who is able to run projects from small 1-bed flats to luxury high-end houses in West London. Many of the properties will be in listed buildings so the experience of refurbishinghistorical houseswould be a strong benefit.
The firm is specifically looking for a Project Manager who has been performing the role for at least 5 years rather than an architect looking to switch across into project management, so that they are able to hit the ground running.
The ideal person will have a good grasp of business and financial issues and understand the importance of well thought out design schemes delivered to fixed budgets within the overall investment strategy, with sound administration and an in-depth knowledge of CAD. Knowledge of 3D would be an advantage and other industry software. They should be personable, articulate, well organised and have a good telephone manner and writing style, with the ability to sell their services via third party introductions. They will need the ability to multi-task as there may be as many as 20 projects running simultaneously. They will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience of undertaking renovations within central London and should be confident both on site and within the office, with their own connections with contractors and 3rd party professionals.
