Job summary

Howells Solutions Limited in Northampton is recruiting a Project Manager to deliver social housing planned works across refurbishment schemes, including kitchens, bathrooms, windows, doors, roofing and decarbonisation projects.

The role requires proven experience in social housing planned works, strong stakeholder management, full UK driving licence, and knowledge of building safety and fire compliance; you will lead on site, manage risks, ensure safety and handover.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Project Manager / Senior Site Manager on social housing planned works.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Full UK driving licence
• Knowledge of building safety, fire compliance, and relevant post-Gateway requirements
• Relevant construction or project management qualification (e.g. HNC/HND, degree, or equivalent experience)

Responsibilities

• Manage all day to day operations of the capital improvement programmes.
• Identifying discrepancies and risks and taking appropriate actions, reporting back to relevant stakeholders when this occurs
• Work closely and meet with client and stakeholders on site to survey and complete property condition reports.
• Developing policies & procedures to support the achievement of new projects
• Site visits to undertake inspections of works and/or liaise with trade operatives, tenants, contractors or statutory bodies to resolve any issues and ensure high satisfaction is achieved
• Maintain Health and Safety and environmental management.
• Drawing up construction phase safety plans and ensuring the safe delivery set out within each plan.
• Understand and manage all client expectations maintaining good working relations.
• Complete project handover and ensure everything is defect/snag free

We are working with a leading Social Housing contractor to recruit an experienced Project Manager to deliver Social Housing refurbishment schemes in Northampton.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a proven Project Manager with a determined and motivated attitude, or an experienced Senior Site Manager who is looking to progress with a market leader. Works include internal and external upgrades to tenanted properties, including new kitchens, bathrooms, windows, doors, roofing, and some decarbonisation projects.

Daily Responsibilities:
