Job summary

Skilled Careers is seeking an experienced Project Manager for social housing refurbishment and planned works in Lewisham, SE London. You will lead a portfolio of fabric repairs, upgrades and external envelope works, coordinating site teams, subcontractors and consultants to maintainprogramme, safety and budget.

The role requires strong client-facing skills, a proven track record in multi-workstream delivery and a full UK driving licence.

• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Manage the delivery of internal and external fabric repairs, redecorations and property upgrades.
• Oversee fascia, soffit and rainwater goods replacement programmes.
• Lead roofing repairs and replacements, including liquid coating applications.
• Manage balcony and walkway refurbishment and replacement works.
• Deliver window and door replacement programmes.
• Oversee passive fire protection and fire safety improvement works.
• Manage retrofit and decarbonisation measures, including sustainability and energy efficiency upgrades.
• Coordinate upgrades and replacement of communal facilities including bin stores, pram sheds and drying areas.
• Deliver external works including hard and soft landscaping, paving and communal environment improvements.
• Manage site teams, subcontractors, consultants and client relationships.
• Ensure projects are delivered in line with programme, budget, quality and health & safety requirements.
• Produce progress reports and attend client and stakeholder meetings.

Project Manager - Social Housing Refurbishment & Planned Works

Lewisham, SE London £70,000 - £80,000 per annum plus package

Our client is a leading construction and property services contractor delivering large-scale refurbishment, regeneration and decarbonisation programmes across the social housing and residential sectors. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a portfolio of planned maintenance, fabric repair and upgrade projects.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially aware Project Manager with experience delivering occupied residential refurbishment works, managing multiple stakeholders and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the delivery of internal and external fabric repairs, redecorations and property upgrades.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Project Manager within social housing, refurbishment, planned maintenance or property services.
• Strong understanding of external envelope, roofing, fire safety and retrofit projects.
• Experience managing multiple workstreams and subcontractors.
• Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong commercial awareness and programme management ability.
• SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications desirable.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
