Job summary

Appoint Limited is seeking a Project Manager / Senior Site Agent to oversee a civils package on major substation projects. You will manage site operations, coordinate subcontractors and ensure works meet safety, quality and programme targets.

Experience in civils packages on substations or large infrastructure is required, with knowledge of grout, foundations, drainage and concrete works. Immediate start preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Civils Site Manager, Sub Agent or similar within civil engineering and infrastructure.
• Experience managing civils packages on substation or major infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of groundworks, drainage, foundations and concrete works.
• Good understanding of health and safety, quality assurance and construction programmes.
• National Grid or high-voltage substation experience would be highly advantageous.
• Relevant site management qualifications and safety certifications.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the delivery of a civils package across multiple substation projects.
• Manage day-to-day site operations, ensuring works are completed safely and in line with the project programme.
• Coordinate subcontractors, site managers, supervisors and groundworks teams.
• Manage civils activities including Grouting, drainage, foundations, concrete works and ducting.
• Monitor progress, productivity, resources and programme milestones.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures, RAMS, permits and quality requirements.
• Liaise with project managers, engineers, clients and other stakeholders.
• Coordinate civils activities with mechanical and electrical installation teams.
• Manage site documentation, quality records and progress reporting.
• Identify and resolve site issues, ensuring minimal disruption to programme delivery.

Project Manager / Senior Site Agent - Civils package

Location: Necton, Swaffham PE37 8DQ
Start Date: ASAP
Rate: 400/450 outside IR35

We are currently seeking an experienced Civils Site Manager / PM to oversee a The civils package on Synchronised Flywheel at an electrical substation large substation projects - basically RC Structure, slabs and grouting
The successful candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering and infrastructure, with proven experience managing civils packages on substation or similar major infrastructure projects. You will be responsible for overseeing site operations, coordinating subcontractors and ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality standards.
Candidates with previous experience working on National Grid or other high-voltage substation projects will be highly advantageous.
