Job summary

RTL Group Ltd seeks a Site Manager for a 400kV substation project in Yorkshire. You will manage day-to-day site operations and coordinate with electrical/HV contractors to ensure work is delivered on time and to specification.

The role requires proven civils/site management experience, CSCS/SMSTS and First Aid; NG TP137/SR163 experience is advantageous. Immediate start on a long-term civils contract in Yorkshire.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Site Manager in civils/groundworks or infrastructure.
• Experience on substations, energy infrastructure or major civils projects is desirable.
• Strong understanding of site health & safety and construction processes.
• Ability to manage subcontractors and multiple work fronts.

Rate: DOE
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Long-term Civils Contract

The Role:

• Managing day-to-day site operations across a major 400kV substation project
• Supervising subcontractors and site teams
• Managing civils, groundworks, concrete and associated infrastructure works
• Ensuring works are delivered safely, to programme and to specification
• Coordinating with the wider project team and electrical/HV contractors
• Reviewing RAMS, permits and site documentation
• Monitoring progress, quality and health & safety
• Reporting into the Project/Construction Manager

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Site Manager within civils, groundworks or infrastructure
• Experience working on substations, energy infrastructure or major civils projects is highly desirable
• Strong understanding of site health & safety and construction processes
• Ability to manage subcontractors and multiple work fronts
• CSCS
• SMSTS
• First Aid
• National Grid experience / NG Persons / TP137 or SR163 would be advantageous
