Job summary

Randstad CPE is seeking an experienced Project Manager for a respected regional main contractor delivering commercial, education, industrial, and residential projects up to £10m+. With strong turnover secured and high staff retention, this role offers stability and a supportive, non-corporate culture.

You will lead projects from early involvement through to completion, directing site operations, coordinating with pre-con teams on tenders and programming, and maintaining high delivery standards

Qualifications

• Lead PM with regional or national main contractor background.
• Experience delivering projects £3m-£10m+ across commercial, residential, industrial or education.
• Pre-construction involvement including method statements, logistics, and programming.
• Valid SMSTS, CSCS Black Card and First Aid.

Responsibilities

Job Title: Project Manager (Main Contractor)

Location: Berkshire / Hampshire / Surrey (Regional sites)

Salary: £68,000 - £76,000 + Car Allowance & Package

The Opportunity

We are hiring an experienced Project Manager for an established main contractor delivering commercial, education, industrial, and residential projects up to £10m+. The Role

Leading projects from early involvement through to completion, you will:

• Drive site operations and lead delivery teams, sub-contractors, and site managers.

• Collaborate upstream with the pre-con team on tenders, buildability, and programming.

• Maintain high standards of delivery using modern PM software (Procore / Asta preferred).

• Manage client relationships and work closely with commercial teams on budget control.

What You'll Need

• Proven track record as a lead PM with a regional or national main contractor.

• Experience delivering projects (£3m-£10m+) across varied sectors (commercial, residential, industrial, or education).

• Pre-construction awareness (method statements, logistics, and programming input).

• Valid SMSTS, CSCS Black Card, and First Aid.

• Commutable across Berkshire, Hampshire, and Surrey.
