Job summary

Hunter Selection is seeking a Project Engineer for a Sutton Coldfield-based manufacturing business. You will lead projects from concept to installation, develop CAD drawings, and introduce new machinery and systems to improve performance, quality and efficiency.

The role offers £42,000–£48,000 pa, 40 hours per week, Mon-Fri. Benefits include pension, ongoing training and development in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Deliver projects within a manufacturing environment.
• Produce and interpret technical drawings.
• Introduce capital equipment and systems.
• Manage contractors and external suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering projects from concept through to installation and commissioning.
• Produce, review and maintain CAD drawings and technical documentation.
• Specify, procure, install and commission new machinery and systems.
• Manage budgets, timelines and project risks.
• Coordinate on-site contractors, review RAMS and supervise works.
• Drive continuous improvement across manufacturing operations.
