Job summary
Hunter Selection is recruiting a Project Engineer for a manufacturing client in Sutton Coldfield. You will lead engineering projects from concept through to installation and commissioning, driving improvements in quality, efficiency and safety.
You will produce and interpret technical drawings (SolidWorks/AutoCAD), specify and install new machinery, manage budgets and timelines, and coordinate contractors and suppliers to deliver on schedule.
Qualifications
- Experience delivering engineering projects in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to produce and interpret technical drawings.
- Experience introducing capital equipment and manufacturing systems.
- Experience managing contractors and external suppliers.
Responsibilities
- Lead engineering projects from concept to installation and commissioning.
- Produce, review and maintain CAD drawings and technical documentation.
- Specify, procure, install and commission new machinery and systems.
- Manage project budgets, timelines and risks.
- Coordinate contractors on site, review RAMS and supervise works.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities across operations.
- Support new product introduction and industrialisation activities.
