Hunter Selection is seeking a Project Engineer in Sutton Coldfield to drive engineering projects from concept through commissioning, improving manufacturing performance, efficiency, quality and safety.

You will lead project delivery, coordinate suppliers and contractors, and implement capital equipment with strong CAD skills. A pro-active engineer with good problem‑solving ability and robust project management will thrive in this role.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering engineering projects in manufacturing.
• Experience introducing and commissioning capital equipment.
• Strong CAD skills with SolidWorks or AutoCAD.
• Excellent project management and stakeholder liaison.
• Ability to manage budgets, timelines and risk.

Responsibilities

Opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Engineer to join a successful manufacturing business. This is a varied role where you'll be responsible for delivering engineering projects from concept through to commissioning, helping to improve manufacturing performance, efficiency, quality, and safety.

This position would suit a proactive engineer who enjoys managing projects, working with suppliers and contractors, and driving continuous improvement across a manufacturing environment.

The Role

• Lead engineering projects from initial concept through to completion.

About You

• HNC/HND or Degree qualified in an Engineering discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience delivering engineering projects within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience introducing and commissioning capital equipment.
• Strong CAD skills (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar).
• Excellent project management and problem-solving abilities.
• Confident managing suppliers, contractors, and key stakeholders.
