Job summary
Hunter Selection is recruiting an Engineering Team Leader for a leading Bristol-based manufacturer. You will lead a team of up to 5 engineers on shift, ensuring equipment reliability and driving continuous improvement initiatives to meet production targets.
The role involves coordinating planned maintenance, responding to breakdowns, and partnering with the Maintenance & Engineering Manager to enhance site performance.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years' experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Engineering qualification (Level 2 or above).
- Experience leading, mentoring or supervising engineers.
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- Continuous improvement mindset.
- FMCG or fast-paced manufacturing experience desirable.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach and develop a team of up to 5 engineers.
- Coordinate and oversee planned preventative maintenance activities.
- Support rapid response to breakdowns and minimise production downtime.
- Drive continuous improvement and root cause analysis activities.
- Ensure engineering standards, safety and compliance are maintained.
- Work closely with the Maintenance & Engineering Manager to improve site performance.
