Job description
Project Engineer - Reputable growing Business in Sheffield
  • Project life cycle from concept to completion along with producing and maintaining project plans.
  • Produce list of deliverables and set deadlines on a project by project basis.
  • Identify critical path and foreseeable roadblocks and develop potential countermeasures.
  • Establish and maintain lines of communication with the customer and subcontractors.
  • Close coordination with our clients procurement department to ensure delivery dates do not effect key milestones and communicate if lead time change.
  • Be responsible for project related site activities.
  • Attend internal project handover meetings and customer 'kick-off' meetings on site as necessary
  • Preparing relevant documentation (Work Package Plans, RAMs, Lift Plans etc) for site installations to ensure successful installation of equipment
  • Liaising with production and engineering department to ensure timelines are communicated and milestones met
  • Meet our client & customer project plan timing objectives
Site Tasks
  • Coordination with Engineering, Production and other departments
  • Meet Health & Safety, Environmental and Quality Control objectives
  • FORS Champion (Road Risk and Counter Terrorism)

The working week is Monday - Thursday 08.30am - 5.00pm, Friday early finish.
