Job summary

Deverell Smith Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Project Coordinator to support the Project Management team on interior fit-out projects across the UK, including retail, hospitality and leisure sectors. You will work closely with Senior Project Managers and Project Managers through the full project lifecycle to ensure high standards and on-time delivery.

This role rewards proactive problem solving, clear communication and meticulous administration, with responsibilities ranging from tracking progress

Qualifications

• A proven track record supporting the project management lifecycle on retail, hospitality and leisure interior fit-outs across the UK.
• Experience of contractor-side or client-side contracts and project management in retail, leisure or hospitality.
• Good understanding of construction safety requirements and H&S legislation.
• Clean UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Track each project and its status from pre-construction through to completion.
• Keep project programmes up to date so delivery dates are met.
• Arrange and support site meetings, and write detailed minutes.
• Send out documents on time, including purchase orders, programmes and minutes.
• Manage project information such as minutes, programmes, cost reports and H&S documents.
• Attend site visits and ensure projects are delivered to a high standard.
• Assist with cost reporting including project reports and final accounts.
• Handle project admin and ad hoc requests.
• Produce weekly client reports as needed.
• Talk with contractors, suppliers, clients, legal teams and consultants about actions.
• Build tender lists with Project Managers.
