Job summary

First Military Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Project Coordinator in Yate to oversee repairs and installation works from order receipt to completion. You will coordinate labour, materials, plant and resources, ensuring on‑time delivery and high-quality results while maintaining excellent customer service and after‑sales support.

The role requires strong organisation, communication and multitasking skills, with experience in service, engineering or operational environments.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a coordination, scheduling or administrative role, ideally within a service, engineering or operational environment.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Strong communication skills with a professional telephone manner.
  • Ability to build effective working relationships with customers, suppliers and colleagues.
  • Good numeracy skills with the ability to understand labour, material and plant requirements.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office and experienced using CRM or job management systems.
  • Proactive, organised and able to work effectively under pressure.
  • Reliable with the ability to take ownership of tasks through to completion.
  • Experience within construction, engineering or service delivery environments is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of coordinating labour, site-based works or warranty processes would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate all quoted repair and installation works from order receipt through to successful completion.
  • Order and manage all required parts, materials and plant for each project.
  • Request labour from the Service Planner, providing accurate job information to enable efficient scheduling.
  • Liaise with suppliers to ensure materials and equipment are available and delivered on time.
  • Coordinate site activities with customers, engineers and internal departments.
  • Arrange plant and equipment requirements where necessary.
  • Monitor the progress of works, ensuring projects are completed on time and to the required quality standards.
  • Maintain accurate job records, documentation and CRM updates throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Work closely with Operations and Planning teams to ensure the smooth delivery of quoted works.
  • Provide after-sales support, managing warranty claims and resolving post-completion queries.
  • Keep customers informed with regular updates on project progress and delivery timescales.
  • Support incoming customer enquiries and provide assistance where required.
  • Take ownership of repair and installation projects from initial order through to completion.

Salary: £28,000 - £34,000

Overview:First Military Recruitment are currently supporting a client in the search for a Repairs & Installations Coordinator. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating all quoted repair and installation works from receipt of order through to completion. You will ensure labour, materials, plant and resources are organised efficiently while providing excellent customer service throughout the project lifecycle, including after-sales support and warranty coordination.
