Job summary

Adecco, based in Stoke-on-Trent, seeks a proactive Project Coordinator to manage multiple construction projects from order to completion. You will support the sales function, nurture customer relationships, and ensure milestones are delivered on time within a collaborative, cross-functional team.

The role emphasizes strong organisational skills, excellent communication, and the ability to coordinate stakeholders while maintaining accurate records and documentation.

Qualifications

  • GCSEs (incl Maths and English) at grade 4/C or above.
  • Experience in admin, sales support, customer service or project coordination.

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day support to Regional Sales Managers and the commercial team.
  • Coordinate projects from order placement to completion.
  • Act as main contact for customers, provide updates and resolve queries.
  • Monitor project progress and liaise with internal departments.
  • Prepare quotations, project documents and reports.
  • Maintain CRM/business records and organise meetings.

Project Coordinator

An established and growing organisation within the construction sector is looking to appoint a Project Coordinator to join their team based in Stoke-on-Trent.

This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised individual who enjoys managing multiple projects, liaising with customers, and working across several departments to ensure projects run smoothly from initial order through to completion.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting the sales function, maintaining strong customer relationships, and ensuring project milestones are delivered on time.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide day-to-day support to Regional Sales Managers and the wider commercial team.
  • Coordinate projects throughout their lifecycle, from order placement to successful completion.
  • Act as a key point of contact for customers, providing updates and resolving queries in a timely manner.
  • Monitor project progress
  • Liaise with internal departments
  • Prepare quotations, project documentation, reports and customer communications.
  • Maintain accurate records within CRM and business systems.
  • Organise meetings, track actions and ensure follow-up activities are completed.
  • Produce regular project updates and performance reports for management.
  • Contribute to the ongoing improvement of internal processes and project workflows.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will be a proactive and organised professional with excellent communication skills and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

You will ideally have
  • Previous experience within a Project Coordinator, Project Administrator, Sales Support or similar role.
  • Knowledge of the construction industry, building products, or related sectors.
  • Experience using CRM and/or ERP systems.
  • An understanding of project delivery processes and customer requirements.
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • The ability to coordinate multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • A customer-focused approach and a solution-driven mindset.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
Qualifications & Skills
Essential
  • GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths and English at Grade 4/C or above.
  • Previous experience in an administrative, sales support, customer service or project coordination environment.
  • Strong IT literacy, including Microsoft Office applications.
Desirable
  • Degree qualification in Business, Project Management, Construction Management or a related discipline.
  • Knowledge of construction products, systems or specifications.
  • Familiarity with technical documentation and project-related information.
  • Experience working with CRM or ERP platforms.
