Job Description

Our PMO Scotland team is expanding its Controls community. We seek passionate candidates across all professional, senior professional, and managerial levels to support early careers, grow into leadership roles, and contribute to our communities of practice, emphasizing our value of Bringing out the best in Everyone.

With regional growth including new major programmes, projects, and clients, we are looking for flexible Planning and Scheduling / Performance Reporting / Risk Management professionals to deliver services across Scotland, including sectors like Power, Water, Rail, Defence, Nuclear, Local Authority, and Shipyards. Travel within Scotland may be required.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Tailoring reporting processes to meet client needs and best practices.
  • Delivering performance and reporting management plans based on project requirements.
  • Promoting the benefits of Performance Reporting & Analytics within project teams.
  • Implementing and maintaining reporting systems to track project controls performance.
  • Establishing a robust Performance Measurement Baseline (PMB) with project teams.
  • Rolling out reporting calendars for consistent data analysis.
  • Collaborating with project controls to define requirements for information management systems.
  • Developing and maintaining corporate datasets and providing guidance on data quality.
  • Preparing governance materials and identifying performance recovery strategies.
  • Supporting KPI development and contributing to performance measures dictionaries.
  • Creating project performance reports and dashboards for stakeholders.
  • Leading presentation preparations for governance forums and reviews.
  • Participating in communities of practice and training team members on reporting processes.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a project or programme environment is essential.
  • Understanding of how Project Controls aspects interact with Reporting.
  • Proven ability to identify and document reporting and data requirements.
  • Knowledge of Project Controls software (Primavera P6, Active Risk Manager, Ecosys) is desirable.
  • Experience with data analysis tools like Power BI.
  • Understanding of data architecture and data models.
